CHANNELING
My current research project is very new, but basically I am looking at the internet communities surrounding "channelers"—people who are in contact with entities from different dimensions/ planets/ realities. I am interested in how the channelers experience their bodies as media objects that communicate words they did not author. I'm also keen to see how the larger community uses digital technologies (podcasts, YouTube videos, TikToks, web forums, etc) along with physical gatherings like conferences and and workshops to prepare for what many believe to be impending "full contact" (with extraterrestrials) sometime in 2026-2027.
